Family Promise Metrowest
The mission of Family Promise Metrowest is to transform the lives of families with children that are facing homelessness by mobilizing a diverse community to provide shelter, education, and comprehensive support. They serve low- and moderate-income families with at least one child under the age of 18 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Their families are Massachusetts residents, with priority given to families from the Metrowest region. They welcome all genders and family compositions."

Family Promise Metrowest is ready to match community donors to the Holiday Wish Lists of families enrolled in their programs. You are invited to sponsor a parent, a child, or an entire family.

What is involved in “sponsoring” a wish list?
When you chose a person to sponsor from our wish list, you commit to purchasing and delivering the 3 gifts or gift card listed for that person. Please include a gift receipt whenever possible.
What kinds of gifts will I have to buy?

What if I have trouble understanding a request or finding an item from a child’s list?
Reach out to me! I’d be happy to help you find something just right or make an appropriate substitution. If all else fails, please consider a $50 gift card to a retailer who would carry something similar to the requested item.
When are gifts due at Family Promise?
All gifts should be delivered unwrapped in a box or bag by Monday, December 8. Family Promise is open Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 4 pm. Family Promise Metrowest is located at 6 Mulligan Street in Natick, with our office entrance facing South Avenue. Parking is right out front.
How will you know who my gifts are for?
Please make note of the information provided in the title of the slot on SignUpGenius and tape a label to your delivery. This will include: Family # (INITIALS): family member, age. An example might be: Family #14 (AB): Girl, age 7.

What kinds of gifts will I have to buy?
There are three types of wish lists:
- Children under 13 years old: Parents have identified 3 desired gifts—Something WARM, something CREATIVE, and something just for FUN. When you sponsor a child, you commit to providing those 3 (or very similar) gifts.
- Children older than 13 years old: Parents had the option of identifying 3 gifts as above OR choosing a $100 gift card to Amazon, Target, or Walmart instead. Parents who opted for the gift card have identified the desired merchant.
- Adults: Family Promise Metrowest is committed to wrapping the parents they work with in a bit of holiday love, too. They have listed the following three gifts for each adult: a gift card to Dunkin’ Donuts, a cozy blanket throw to wrap up in, and one item to help weather the winter. This may be a hat, umbrella, snow brush for the car, snow shovel, ice melt, etc.
