Special Advent Study:
"The First Christmas" by Marcus Borg & John Dominic Crossan

​The story of Jesus’ birth was never just one story but several, with different communities using them to convey particular parts of their understanding of who Jesus was, what he did, and why. This Advent we’ll spend some time with Biblical scholars Marcus Borg and John Dominic Crossan trying to untangle those strands and recapture some of the deeper meaning of these introductions to the “greatest story ever told.”

Ongoing Bible Study
Sundays @ 11:30am

We gather most every Sunday after worship, about 11:30am, for simple, personal Bible study--prayerful reading that takes the historical context of the scriptures and the context of our everyday lives today into account as we look for a living and life-giving Word from God in the words of the Bible. It’s a chance to get to know God and one another and maybe even ourselves a little bit better. Walk-ins are more than welcome any Sunday! 

Monthly Men's Fellowship Breakfast
3rd Sundays @ 8:15am

​Every third Sunday of the month @ 8:15am before worship, the men of the congregation are invited to share a simple breakfast and conversation inspired by the scripture reading and sermon topic for the day. Bacon, eggs, and Bible study: It’s a good thing.

Mindful Meditation
​2nd & 4th Sundays @ 11:30am

​Every second and fourth Sunday of the month after church, members of our congregation meet for a time of prayerful, mindful meditation. Join us for this time of spiritual centering using a variety of practices and readings as our guide.
